2nd grade expeditions
Second grade students will participate in two expeditions throughout the school year. These expeditions will give students hands-on experience with different topics. Students will participate in various field trips and service learning opportunities throughout the year!
Fall Expedition: Farm to Table
Students will learn about farms, fresh vs. processed foods, the life cycle of crops and how to make healthy recipes.
Spring Expedition: Culture and Nutrition
Students will learn about the cultures of Italy, Ireland and China and will compare those cultures to that of the US. Students will also learn about nutrition and making healthy food choices.
